Manjiro Sano

Mikey, whose real name is Manjiro Sano, is one of the founding members of the Tokyo Manji Gang, a notorious group of delinquents. He previously served as the leader, known as "Sōchō," of the Kanto Manji Gang in a different timeline. Despite being a prominent figure in the Tokyo underworld, Mikey is also the deuteragonist of the Tokyo Revengers manga series and its anime adaptation.

Personality: Mikey is a carefree and charismatic teenager who leads the Tokyo Manji Gang. He is determined to protect his friends and rarely shows weakness. However, he also harbors a great darkness within him due to personal losses, which can lead him down a dangerous path. Through the story, Takemichi aims to keep Mikey on the right path and prevent him from succumbing to his violent impulses. It is revealed that the darkness was caused by a curse that is lifted when Mikey and Takemichi time-leap into the past.

Takemichi Hanageki

Takemichi Hanagaki, also known as Takemitchy, is the central protagonist of the Tokyo Revengers manga and its anime adaptation. His journey began after he learned about the tragic deaths of the Tachibana siblings, particularly his ex-girlfriend Hinata Tachibana, which prompted him to use his unique ability to time-leap twelve years back in time. Through his ability to time travel, he gets a chance to rewrite history and save Hinata, as well as other important people in his life.

Takemichi's journey involves a deep dive into the infamous Tokyo Manji Gang, a middle school biker gang that he and his friends were a part of in the past. In his effort to change the future, Takemichi becomes determined to learn about the origins of Toman, which is responsible for Hinata's death in the present. His journey takes him through various stages of Toman's history, including its early days as a non-violent gang that was founded by his best friend, Kisaki Tetta.

As Takemichi progresses through time, he becomes more deeply involved in Toman's world. He starts as a member and eventually becomes the First Division Captain, an important position that enables him to witness the inner workings of the gang. This also serves as a stepping stone for his ascension to the leadership of the 11th Generation Black Dragon in 2006, which puts him in a unique position to shape the future of Toman.

Throughout his journey, Takemichi is also forced to confront his own weaknesses and insecurities. His experiences in the past have helped him develop into a stronger person and leader, someone who can guide Toman towards a better future. In his final time leap, he becomes the Acting President of Toman, a testament to his growth as a person and leader.

Takemichi's journey in Tokyo Revengers is a story of redemption, courage, and perseverance. It shows how even the smallest actions can have a significant impact on the future and how we can all make a difference if we have the courage to do what is right. His story inspires us to believe in ourselves and to never give up, even in the face of overwhelming odds.

Appearance: Takemichi has an average height and a light skin tone. His hair is bleached yellow and styled in a faux hawk, but he occasionally leaves it tousled. His eye color varies from blue or gray in the anime to green or brown in the manga. A scar from a stab wound can be seen on his left hand, and he has another scar on his left foot from a bullet wound, though it's not usually visible. He typically wears either his high school uniform, which consists of a white button-up shirt and light gray pants, or his custom gang outfit, which features a black toppoku with the Toman emblem and manifesto woven into the sides. Additionally, he wears a matching clover necklace with Hina.

Back in 2005, Takemichi wore the Mizo Middle School uniform, which included a dress shirt, black slacks, and loafers. As an adult, his hair is wavy and tousled in a natural black color. He usually dresses in plain casual clothes, but sometimes wears his work uniform from the CD and DVD Rental Store.

 Ken Ryuguji

Draken, also known as Ken Ryuguji, is a co-founder of the Tokyo Manji Gang and previously served as its vice leader (, Fuku Sch?). In his earlier years, he was a member of the motorcycle gang Brahman.

Draken is a towering adolescent with a muscular build. His blonde hair is styled in a braid on top, while the sides and back of his head are shaven, revealing a dragon tattoo on his left temple. He usually leaves a few strands of hair hanging loosely in the front. Despite his young age, he has a well-defined six-pack and a lean physique, which surprised Takemichi. He also has a scar on his abdomen from a previous stabbing incident. When he's with the gang, he wears the standard Toman Toppoku, and his preferred casual attire is a printed long jacket.
