That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime Diablo and Character Details And Plot In The Anime

Diablo's Personality

Diablo is one of the main antagonists in the first season of "That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime." He is first introduced as a demon lord who serves under the Demon Lord Carrion, and he is sent to negotiate with Rimuru Tempest, the protagonist of the series. However, after being defeated by Rimuru, Diablo becomes one of Rimuru's most loyal and powerful allies.

Diablo's transformation from an antagonist to a loyal ally is one of the most interesting aspects of his character development. Throughout the series, Diablo's loyalty to Rimuru grows stronger, and he becomes more and more dedicated to serving him in any way possible.

However, Diablo's devotion to Rimuru does not prevent him from acting in his own self-interest. He is a highly intelligent and strategic character, with a talent for manipulation and scheming. He often works behind the scenes to further Rimuru's goals, but he also has his own agenda, which usually involves getting closer to Rimuru.

Despite his scheming and manipulative nature, Diablo is a highly likable character, with a charming personality and a great sense of humor. He is one of the most entertaining characters in the series, and his interactions with other characters are always a highlight of the show.

Overall, Diablo is a highly complex and multifaceted character, with a unique blend of humor, loyalty, and manipulation. He is one of the most interesting characters in "That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime," and his presence adds depth and nuance to the series.

Diablo is known for his unwavering loyalty to Rimuru in "That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime." He follows Rimuru's orders to the letter, carrying them out with precision and care. For instance, when he was tasked with testing Framea's abilities as a guard for guests to Tempest, Diablo summoned a moderately strong monster to challenge her. However, when he saw that Framea was willing to fight even though she was paralyzed by the creature's goo, Diablo sent the monster away and returned to report back on her actions to Rimuru.

Although Diablo is meticulous in following Rimuru's instructions, he also has some freedom to interpret them as he sees fit. In situations where there are "grey areas" or room for interpretation, Diablo is able to use his own judgment to carry out Rimuru's orders. This flexibility allows him to adapt to changing circumstances and to carry out his duties in the most effective way possible.

Diablo in "That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime" is a proud daemon who despises owing a debt to anyone, even to those who have already passed away. This becomes evident when Shizu's replacement, Tiss, attempts a desperate summon to save Shizu's students from a Phantom. Though the summoning fails, an unnamed Diablo offers to help Tiss for a small price, forbidding her from ever mentioning his involvement.

True to his word, Diablo proceeds to slaughter the Phantom in a truly horrific fashion, fulfilling his debt to Tiss. This act underscores Diablo's commitment to keeping his word and his pride as a daemon. He is willing to go to great lengths to maintain his honor and to ensure that he owes no debts to anyone, no matter how small the price.

Diablo's Background

Because of his unpredictable behavior and whimsical nature, Noir was always considered an enigma by the other Primordials. Posses sufficient power to evolve into a Daemon Lord, he abandoned his quest for power when his power efficiency became too high, making any fights too easy for him. To the chagrin of some of his peers, he remained an Arch Daemon.

On a whim, he answered a Demon Summon and had an unexpected encounter with Shizue Izawa. Shizue's Anti-Magic Mask repelled him just as he was about to defeat her, revealing its incomprehensible nature. He secretly observed Shizue and the mask from then on, intrigued by their mysterious properties.

The mask eventually fell into Rimuru's hands, and Noir noticed that the mask lost its power and shattered. As a result, he concluded that Rimuru is linked to the power of the mask, that either transcends time and reality, making him the key to understanding the "truth of the world."

Diablo had been eager to respond to Rimuru's summoning during a Greater Daemon Summoning in The Dungeon, but he was beaten to it by his own descendant, Beretta, much to his great annoyance.

However, when Rimuru conducted another Greater Daemon Summoning to capture Razen, Noir, along with two of his Greater Daemon followers, was finally able to answer the call. Following a series of events, Rimuru gave him the name "Diablo," and he grew into a powerful Daemon Lord.
