Chrome's Appearance
Chrome's Plot
On the first floor of the game, he was exploring when he stumbled upon Maple being attacked by a swarm of bugs and monsters. He was shocked at the sheer number of enemies attacking her, but he quickly jumped into action and helped her fend them off. After the battle, he noticed that Maple's play style was quite unique and unorthodox, which piqued his curiosity. He decided to research more about her online and found a forum where players were discussing her gameplay.
The next day, he was surprised when Maple approached him and complimented his shield, asking how she could obtain one like it. He realised that she was interested in improving her gameplay, so he offered to introduce her to Iz, a skilled craftsman who could help her make a better shield.
At first, he was sceptical of Maple's play style, but as he spent more time with her, he started to appreciate her unconventional approach to the game. He was constantly amazed by her innovative strategies and abilities, which he would excitedly share with his friends in secret chats.
During the first major event in the game, he performed well and managed to secure the ninth spot in the rankings. This caught Maple's attention, and she invited him and Iz to join her newly formed guild, Maple Tree. He was delighted to accept the invitation and became an active member of the guild, participating in various events and quests alongside Maple and Iz.
Chrome's Personality
Chrome is known for his friendly and jovial nature and is always ready to assist new players, as he did when introducing Maple to Iz. Although he has a competitive streak and is occasionally self-conscious of Maple's superior skills, his loyalty and honesty far outweigh his desire to win. For almost as long as Maple has played New World Online, he and Maple have been supporting each other.

Introductory Arc
Chrome was wandering around the game world when he stumbled upon Maple meditating while being attacked by a group of monsters. He was intrigued by her calm demeanor despite the danger around her and decided to observe the situation.
Later on, Maple approached Chrome in the village and asked about his shield, noting its durability and effectiveness in battle. Chrome saw an opportunity to help her and suggested that they meet Iz, a skilled crafter who could teach her more about shields and crafting.
As Chrome and Iz taught Maple about crafting, they were impressed by her eagerness to learn and improve her skills. However, they were initially unaware of her unique approach to gameplay and recommended that she explore the Labyrinth of the Poison Dragon.
This dungeon was known for its challenging and dangerous nature, and many players would avoid it. However, little did they know that it would be a perfect fit for Maple's unorthodox tactics. Her ability to withstand poison damage and navigate through traps proved invaluable in this dungeon, and she emerged victorious, impressing Chrome and Iz with her unique gameplay style.
Second Event Arc
During the second event, Chrome and his party climbed to the snowy summit of a mountain, where they encountered Maple and Sally. Chrome was impressed by Maple's strength and ability to navigate through treacherous terrain.
As a sign of gratitude, Maple and Sally allowed Chrome's party to enter the teleport circle first, hoping to repay the favor for their previous help. However, their act of kindness was short-lived when Silverwing, a massive dragon boss, suddenly appeared and attacked Chrome's party with ferocity.
Despite their best efforts, Chrome's party was quickly decimated by Silverwing's powerful attacks. Maple, on the other hand, demonstrated her unique gameplay style and was able to withstand the boss's onslaught. The encounter left Chrome in awe of Maple's abilities and cemented their friendship as they continued to explore the game's challenges together.
Guild Founding Arc
Chrome and Iz stumbled upon Kanade and Kasumi as they were joining Maple's guild, which would later be known as Maple Tree. After observing the guild's dynamics, Chrome and Iz accepted an invitation to join the guild and began to work alongside Maple and the others.
During one adventure, Maple loaned Syrup to Chrome, and in the process, he discovered a hidden dungeon. As they explored the dungeon together, Chrome focused on leveling up Syrup and utilizing his unique abilities. With Syrup's aid, Chrome successfully defeated the boss on their first attempt and gained his own unique series.
As the fourth event was announced, Chrome suggested that the guild invite new players to join their ranks. He had planned to reach out to others through a BBS thread, but Maple and Sally took it upon themselves to scout for potential recruits instead.
Guild Competition Arc
During the 4th event, Chrome participated in raids on other bases alongside other members of Maple Tree. In Maple's absence, he stepped up to protect the members who had lower defense capabilities.
During the raid led by the Congregation of the Holy Swords, Chrome stood by the twins and fought valiantly to keep them alive. Despite the intensity of the battle, Chrome remained calm and focused, utilizing his skills to their fullest potential to ensure the safety of his guildmates.
Rulership Arc
During the 6th event, Chrome encountered Misery near his point of entry and decided to team up with her. As they progressed through the event, Chrome focused on avoiding damage while Misery provided support.
Later on, Chrome and Misery joined forces with Kanade, Marx, and Payne to defeat the boss of the silent forest and acquire the MP up skill. They then moved on to a ruin guarded by golems, where they were joined by Mii. Together, the team of six successfully navigated a door-shifting puzzle and defeated the skeleton king boss.
Tower Arc
Chrome, along with Iz, Kasumi, Kanade, Mai, and Yui, formed a team and set out to climb the tower in the 7th event. As the team's main tank, Chrome played a crucial role in their progress.
On the 5th floor, they encountered numerous monsters with physical immunity and were forced to change their strategy. Chrome found himself separated from the rest of the group and engaged in a long battle with a horde of zombies. Despite the odds, he emerged victorious, defeating them one by one and regrouping with the others with his health intact.
While Maple and Sally had just finished the 7th floor, Chrome and his team had already cleared the 9th floor but were ultimately defeated by the 10th floor's boss.
Companion Arc
Chrome stumbled upon a valuable map during one of his dungeon explorations, which contained a series of X marks. He decided to follow them one by one, and his journey led him to discover both treasure and monsters at each location. In the final spot, he uncovered an extraordinary loot consisting of a [Bridge of Bonds] ring that paired perfectly with a suit of armor capable of movement. Delighted by his discovery, Chrome named the armor Necro and proudly introduced it to his fellow guild members in Maple Tree.
Eighth Event Arc
Chrome teamed up with Necro and participated in the 8th event, where he faced off against both monsters and other players.
